2 NRHA World Champion titles for Piet Mestdagh

15/12/2019 – Recently the NRHA world rankings have been updated. A number of World Champion titles, Reserve World Champion titles and Top 10 listings have been achieved by European riders.
☺ With only $ 141,75 ahead of number 2 Canadian Morey Fisk (CAN) and Chicks Smokingun owned by Sabine Schmid are in the lead in the Open division. Belgian Ann Fonck (BEL) and Spook N Perla owned by Golden Paint Ranch are in 2nd place. With Made In Walla owned by Sabine Lisec Fonck places 3rd. The battle does not have to be over yet though. On December 21 there is still one show scheduled in Bodiam (GB) offering a $ 1,000 added Open class.
☺ Austrian Klaus Lechner and Cody Rooster Delmaso owned by Julia Gaupman-Lechner are NRHA Intermediate Open World Champions.
☺ 19-year-old Belgian Nimroid Vannietvelt and Gunnerlicious owned by Steve Vannietvelt and Gina de Pauw are NRHA Intermediate Open Reserve World Champions. A huge achievement in his first year in the Open competition. Italian Markus Schopfer and his own Jokin Whiz are placing 3rd. Dutch Roy van der Hoeven and This Dun Is Spaton owned by Inanna Versteeg are placing 4th.
☺ Belgian Piet Mestdagh and Reining Whiz are both NRHA Non Pro World Champions and NRHA Intermediate Non Pro World Champions. Despite of the unfortunate fall at the Equitá Lyon (FRA) causing elimination from the competition, Mestdagh hold his positions on the rankings. The years of hunting for the Non Pro title have finally been rewarded.
☺ Dutch Pien Boots and the leased Mc Jacs Tuff Girl owned by Marina Coppes place 3rd in the Limited Non Pro division.
