17/10/2020 – Posting a 222,0 CDS Shine McQueen [Shine Chic Shine] owned by 7 Heaven Reining Horses, and Bernard Fonck (BEL) claimed the NRHA Germany Breeders Futurity L4 Open Champion title. The pair were the very last to enter in a file of 15 finalist and a 221,5, posted by Gennaro Lendi (ITA) and OT Taris Yankee [Yankee Gun] owned by Cornelia Valentin was their challenge. The circles were not very exciting but during the pattern Fonck increased the level, finally resulting in the title.
In L3 Wimpysdreamcometrue [Magnum Chic Dream], owned by Celina Stuiber and ridden by Emanuel Ernst (GER) took the lead posting a 218,5, an amazing 6,5 points ahead of the rest of the field. Reserve honors were for Wimpys Ruf Gun [Wimpys Smoking Gun] ridden by Markus Süchting (GER) and owned by Sven Berger.
Posting a 215,0, the L2 title was granted to Ruf N Lil Joe [Lil Joe Cash] owned by Peter Stray and ridden by Michael Saupe (GER). Posting a 213,0 Verena Böckle (GER) piloted Lil Joesy Cash [Lil Joe Cash] owned by Hans Peter Miltner to both the L2- and L1 Reserve champion title. In L1 it was Henning Koopmann (GER) who piloted GH The Running Gun [Dun It Gotta Gun] owned by Beate Gaab to the title posting a 216,0.
Dutch Petra van Ede entered ND The Icemen [SG Frozen Enterprize] owned by Martine Nillis in both the L3- and L2 finals. Van Ede stayed out of the penalty box, the pair got little to no credit on the maneuvers, resulting in a 211,5. A fine result though, the pair ended in both L3 and L2 on the third step of the podium.
The second Dutch Touch is credited to Grischa Ludwig (GER). Posting a 217,0 Ludwig and Just On Sparks [Steppin On Sparks] owned by Dutch Margot van Doorne (NLD) tied for 3rd place in L4 together with Ann Fonck (BEL) and CS Sailing Gun [My Royal Gun] owned by CS Ranch
The Open finals for 4-years-old are scheduled for tonight.
