Claassen, Ferri and Fonck Futurity Champions 3-years-old

20/09/2020 – The only Dutch entry participating in the NRH Belgium Open Futurity for 3-years-old concluded yesterday at Barelhof Sport Horses in Destelbergen (BEL) came along pretty well. Ernst Claassen and Spookin Riccochet [Ricochet Rooster], owned by Tom de Boever, posted a 215,0 claiming both the L1 (6 entries) and L2 (13) Futurity Champion title as well as the L3(12) Reserve Futurity Champion title. De Boever himself had already claimed 3 titles in the Non Pro Futurity scheduled for last Friday. With a 208,5 the L1 Reserve Futurity Champion title went to GP Shining Vintage [Sparkling Vintage], owned by Imelda Maertens and ridden by Belgian Jordi Adriaens; the L2 Reserve Futurity Champion title with a 213,0 to Spark A Whiz [Steppin On Sparks], owned by Mark Runte and ridden by Belgian Wim Vervecken.
Posting a 215,5 Italian Stefano Ferri and Lil Modern Spark [Spark N Whiz], owned by BO Ranch, claimed both the L3 Futurity Champion title and L4 (8) Reserve Futurity Champion title. With a 217,0 score the L4 Futurity Champion title was went to Midsummer Spook [Smart Spook], owned by Rosanne Sternberg and ridden by Bernard Fonck.
