15/09/2020 – The COVID-19 outbreak earlier this year has had a huge impact on the show schedule, resulting in a current national and international rush hour. In the Netherlands the Dutch Championship of the WRAN (Western Rider Association of the Netherlands) and the AAHCH (American Appaloosa Horse Club Holland) have been scratched this year. The European Championship for Appaloosa Horses that was scheduled in the Netherlands earlier this month totally disappeared from the schedule as well. The DPHC (Dutch Paint Horse Club) and NQHA (Nederlandse Quarter Horse Association) are still offering a National Championship this year though.
The Dutch Championship for American Paint Horses is scheduled for September 26 and 27 at Manege het Keelven in Someren.
The Dutch Championship for American Quarter Horses is scheduled for October 9 up to and including October 11 at Reining Center Meertenhof in Grathem. By the way, the entry deadline is today. Prior to the Championship, the NQHA/AQHA First Contest is scheduled for September 18 up to and including September 20, once again in Grathem.
