25/06/2020 – In his recent press conference Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte has announced that a number of measures taken in order to control the further spread of COVID-19 can be eased as of July 1, including measures that effected the equine industry. As of July 1 it is allowed again to organize equine shows, both outdoor and indoor, though a few measures are still mandatory. Spectators are allowed to visit, but it is mandatory that they maintain 1,5 meter distance from each other. If the venue does not offer this facility a maximum number of 100 spectators is allowed.
The KNHS (Royal Dutch Equine Sports Federation) is working out further instructions regarding the organization of equine shows.
