Footworks Finest passed away

01/11/2019 – Not  only overseas stallions that have had a great influence on the industry found their peace during the past week at a respected age. Closer to home, in Germany, owner Klaus Gabler has put the 27-years-old stallion Footworks Finest humanely to rest. Footworks Finest, son of Hollywood Dun It out of Great Footwork from Great Pine, was bred by David Silva from Pilot Point, Texas. In the USA he has been successfully shown by Tim McQuay, with one of the highlights winning the 1996 NRHA Derby L4 Reserve Champion title. In 2005 the stallion was purchased by Dutch Roy de Bruin and hit Dutch soil. In 2006 De Bruin sold the stallion to Dutch Ron Stienen and from that moment onwards he has been shown all over Europe mainly by Austrian NRHA Professional Rudi Kronsteiner and German NRHA Professional Grischa Ludwig. In 2007 Footworks Finest was shown for the last time at the Mallorca Reining Festival in Spain with Italian NRHA Professional Dario Carmignani at the reins. Footworks Finest has $ 80.875 in NRHA earnings to his name. In 2014 the stallion was handed over to the good care of Gabler to enjoy his old age. His offspring is performing well in the European Reining circuit.
