29/08/2020 – You are a photographer, you have more than one passion and decide to combine 2 of them in front of your camera: horses and dance. An impossible mission one would think, because images do not move. They don’t need to, observing the images photographer Diana Bloemendal made. Bloemendal operates under the name Imadia Photography (www.imadia.nl).
In cooperation with choreograph Rinus Sprong of De Dutch Don’t Dance Division from The Hague (www.ddddd.nu) a unique project was being realized: Pas de Deux. Bloemendal used a number of images made by her, reflecting a perfect harmony between horse and dancer -of which many never had contact with a horse before- to produce a birthday calendar. Two stunning Quarter Horses are also part of the project: the 9-year-old mare FM Biscuit Boom [Peek A Boom], alias Joy, and the 1-year-old mare Footworkdunitgreat [Footworks Finest], alias Grace, both owned by western rider Wieneke van Holsteyn.
Actually this calendar is a ‘must have’. Contact Diana dropping a message to firstname.lastname@example.org for additional information.
