Roper, Schmersal and Buchanan NRBC Non Pro Classic Champions


05/09/2020 – Posting a 221,5 Indy Roper and Spooks Show Time [Spooks Gotta Whiz] claimed the NRBC L4 Non Pro Classic Champion title yesterday in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but the big winner in the total field of entries was youth rider Addisyn Schmersal, daughter of NRHA $ 4 Million Rider Craig Schmersal. With Face The Attitude [Pale Face Dunnit] Addisyn posted a 221,0, not only claiming the L4 Reserve Champion title but also both the L3- and L2 Champion title. British Francesca Sternberg and Red Dirt Paleface [Pale Face Dunnit] placed 10th in this division posting a 214,5.
The L3 Reserve Champion title was claimed by David McGee and Knaughtybyknature [Magnum Chic Dream] posting a 215,5. Sternberg and Red Dirt Paleface tied for 3rd place together with Madison Steel with Into The Nite [Gunners Special Nite] and Caroline Buchanan with Smokin Paleface [Pale Face Dunnit]. McGee also claimed the Prime Time division title. In this division Sternberg tied for second place together with Frederick Christen and Shine Dolly Shine [Shine Chic Shine] and Mexican Jose Vazquez with Xtra Winding Step [Wimpys Little Step]. A fantastic achievement for the British rider who is already on her way to the next show at the BO Ranch in France.
Steel and Buchanan tied for co-Reserve Champions in L2 together with Steven Borgia and  Wind Up Whiz Kid [Topsail Whiz].
Buchanan also claimed the L1 Champion title. 3 Combinations tied for 2nd place all posting a 213,5: Laura Mae Schöller with Untrashyable [Gunnatrashya], Kelsey Larkin with Xtra Lace And Sugar [Wimpys Little Step] and Tina Ellis with Whatacromedoutmercedes [Cromed Out Mercedes].
