Special Dutch Touch at NRHA Futurity

19/11/2019 – Apart from the participation of 4 Dutch trainers at the NRHA Open Futurity (Jimmy van der Hoeven, Huub Heule, Ruben van Dorp and Wilfred Bosscha) the 2019 events has another special Dutch Touch. 37-Year old NRHA Professional Pierre-Luc Phaneuf from Pilot Point, located at the Southern Star Ranch in Whitesboro, will enter Shinerslightningbug, a daughter from Hollywoodstinseltown out of Shiners June Bug from Shining Spark and owned by Dutch Rookie rider Patricia Waaijer. Waaijer: “I met Pierre-Luc and Kelly a couple of years ago under special circumstances and this meeting has resulted in a long lasting good relationship With the support of Pierre-Luc and Kelly I have been able to purchase “Bugs” from David da Silva, an adventure resulting in the challenge we are facing now. “Bugs” has been shown by Pierre-Luc earlier this year at the Rocky Mountain Reining Horse Futurity in Denver and last October successfully at the South West Reining Horse Association Futurity in Ardmore. I find it pretty exciting that we are entering the NRHA Futurity and before you will realize it, the moment will be there.”
The NRHA Futurity is scheduled for November 27 up to and including December 7 in Oklahoma City.
