The hammer fell at $ 175.000 for Custom Vintage Berry

08/12/2019 – At the NRHA/Markel Futurity Prospect Sale in Oklahoma City the 2-year-old stallion Custom Vintage Berry, a son from Sparkling Vintage out of Custom Roan Berry from Custom Crome has been sold for the highest bid of $ 175.000. The stallion was purchased by Italian Maria Cecilia Fiorucci, owner of Elementa and employer of Belgian $ 1 Million rider and trainer Cira Baeck. Custom Roan Berry moves to Italy and this gives Baeck a nice challenge and prospect for 2020. The second highest seller was the 2-year-old stallion Xtra Kiss Me Again, a son from Boom Shernic out of SS Kiss Me Kate from Wimpys Little Step, purchased for $ 67.000 by Karl Roberts.
The highest seller at the Futurity Prospect Sale in 2018 was Shine Colt Shine, a son from van Shine Chic Shine out of Gunners Miss Oak from Gunner. The stallion was purchased by Gaynia Revenberg for $ 220.000. This year Shine Colt Shine won the NRHA L4 Open co-Reserve Champion title with Shawn Flarida at the reins.
