Unusual results IRHA Open Futurity finals 3-years-old

01/12/2019 – The last finals of the IRHA Futurity have been concluded in Cremona (ITA) yesterday: the  € 290.000 added Open Futurity finals for 3-years-old. The results re quite remarkable. Both L4 and L3 ended in a co-Championship.
Italian Mirko Midili and Polish Lukas Czechowicz, being the very last entry, both posted a 223,5 tying for 1 place in L4. Midili aboard Not Black at All [Not Ruf At All] owned by Luga Quarter Horses (ITA) and Czechowicz aboard Copyride [Colonels Shining Gun] owned by Katarzyna Roleska (POL). Italian Gennaro Lendi and Oak Face Bonita [Pale Face Dunnit] owned by Mauro Taccia (ITA) placed 3rd posting a 219,5. The Belgian top- and $ 1 Million riders Bernard Fonck and Cira Baeck -Ann Fonck was scratched- performed more than disappointing. The penalty box was hit frequently and the maneuvers were -compared to the high standard they usually achieve- performed just poor. The highest achievement was a 215,5.

In L3 it were Italian Mirko Piazzi and Massimiliano Ruggeri standing side by side on the highest step of the podium, both marking a 216,0. Piazzi aboard Spooks Of Genius [Spooks Gotta Whiz] owned by Vittorio Rabboni (ITA); Ruggeri aboard Tinselmartin [Hollywoodstinseltown] owned by Marino Pilotto (ITA). German Grischa Ludwig and West Coast Trash [Gunnatrashya] owned by Uta Moll (GER) placed 3rd posting a 215,5.
The L2 podium was overcrowded with Italians. Posting a 214,0 Giacomo Ronchi and Magnetic Master [Master Snapper] owned by Azienda Agricola Cuochi (ITA) claimed the title, reserve honors were for Nicola Cardioli and Spook Gotta Dance [Spooks Gotta Gun] owned by Quarter Dream SRL (IT) posting a 213,5 and tying for 3 place all posting a 213,0 were Nico Sicuro and Spook Gotta Dance [Spooks Gotta Gun] owned Quarter Dream SRL, Mattia Nadalini and his own Great Dolomythic [RS Great Jac Feona] and Stefano Angelucci and his own Zag Ebony Gun [Shine Chic Shine]. And again was the performance of Belgian entry Matyas Gobert with Heez Ceejay Whiz GG [CJ Whiz] owned by Crystelle Bazetoux (BEL) with a 204,0 score disappointing.
In L1 Nadalini claimed the title. Italian Genni Lazzarini and his own DS Little Ottaviogun [GFC Quixote Gun] and German Markus Süchting and Mello Yello Yersey [Yellow Jersey] owned by Kay Schröder (GER) tied for 2nd place both posting a 211,5.
