Younger generation on the rise

02/11/2019 – Equita Lyon (FRA) is at full swing. The participating Belgian competitors are doing well so far, especially the younger generation. Matyas Gobert and Jolien Rottiers. In the Open Futurity for 3-years-old Jolien and Hillbilly Dreamin [Magnum Chic Dream x Footworks For Me] claimed both the L2- and L4 Reserve Champion title. In the Open Futurity for 4-years-old Matyas and Wild West Walla [Walla Walla Whiz x Footworks For Me] claimed the L2 Reserve Champion title and placed 3rd in the L4 division. Footworks For Me is a direct daughter of the recently deceased Footworks Finest. A beautiful tribute. Both Futurity horses are owned by Jolien and Matyas. In the regular NRHA classes Matyas and Stepnstars [Wimpys Little Step x Starlight Whiz] owned by French Anne Tournay claimed the title in the 7.000 added Intermediate Open class. In this class Dutch Roy van der Hoeven and This Dun Is Spaton [Spat Olena x The Jezebell Dunit] owned by Dutch Inanna Versteeg tied for 4 place.
