13-Year-old Emanuel Gebert claims TRFAM Non Pro Challenge title

13/08/2026 – The $ 125.000 added TRFAM (The Run For A Million) Non Pro Challenge concluded yesterday in Las Vegas (USA) had a remarkable ending. The class was decided in a four-way run-off between 13-year-old Emanuel Gebert (GER) with the 11-year-old gelding Gunna Cash Ya [Lil Joe Cash], Gina Maria Schumacher (GER) with the 6-year-old gelding Take Out The Trash [Gunnatrashya], Allison Thorson (USA) with the 8-year-old stallion Pale Light [Pale Face Dunnit] and Sara Rose Jons (USA) with the 6-year-old stallion Let Err Rip [Magnum Chic Dream] who all marked a 218,0. In the run-off Emanuel surpassed himself posting a beautiful 224,0 score claiming the title. Reserve honors were for Schumacher posting a 223,5.
With this victory Emanuel may add $ 31.872 to his NRHA lifetime earnings. The talented young rider is now approaching the $ 100.000. Quite an achievement and a prime in NRHA history. This was, by the way, not the first time Emanuel and Gunna Cash Ya entered the TRFAM competition. In 2025 Emanuel piloted the gelding to 2nd place in the TRFAM Youth Reining Challenge. Emanuel travels frequently to the USA to compete and once there he is being coached by native German NRHA $1 Million rider Arno Honstetter.
