Double victory for Brutsaert and KB The Joker

20/06/2026 – The Non Pro finals of the NRHA Germany Breeders Derby for 5-year-old and older horses have been concluded yesterday in the Ostbayernhalle in Rieden-Kreuth (GER). Posting a 222,0 Bo Brutsaert (BEL) and the 6-year-old stallion KB The Joker [Colonels Shining Gun] claimed both the € 27.044 added L4- and € 11.387 added L3 Non Pro Derby Champion title. The co-Reserve Champion title in both divisions were for Franziska Wegner (GER) with the 9-year-old mare ND A Dance Wiz Walla [Walla Walla Whiz] and Antony de Lorenzis (ITA) with the 5-year-old Apart from the L4 Reserve Champion title Wegner also claimed the € 6.168 added L2 title. Reserve honors were for Julia Gaupmann (GER) with the 5-year-old mare Vintage Rose [A Sparkling Vintage] posting a 215,0. Posting a 213,0 youth rider Pascalle van de Watering (NED) with the 10-year-old gelding Gonnashowya [Gunnatrashya] and Ann-Katrin Bremstaller (GER) and the 7-year-old mare CS Whiz Ice [Topsail Whiz] tied for 3rd place.
In the € 2,846 added L1 division Van de Watering and Bremstaller decided for a co-Championship. Alicia Levander (SWE) and the 7-year-old gelding Shinersvoodoojunior [Shiners Voodoo] placed 3rd, posting a 212,5
In the Youth division Emanuel Gebert (GER) and the 11-year-old gelding Wimpys Wanna Dance [Wimpys Little Step] claimed the title posting a 214,0. Reserve honors were for Van de Watering. Levander and Jan Gasser (ITA) with the 9-year-old gelding Hug A Spark [Spark N Whiz] tied for 3rd place.
The Open finals will be concluded tonight.
