Mike Bartmann running for position NRHA Director-at-Large

30/08/2026 -As of January 2027 the NRHA has a few open Boards seats of which one is the seat of Director-at-Large on the NRHA Executive Board. A Director-at-Large is a member of the Board who serves the entire membership without holding a specific officer title. The NRHA Executive Committee and Board of Directors are responsible for managing the business of NRHA and for representing the best interests of its members, the horses and the Association as a whole.
Both Mike Bartmann from Osthofen (GER) and John Tague from Pilot Point, Texas (USA) are running for the position. At an earlier stage Paulus Beurskens (NED) was running for the position as well, but in the interest of the sport and in support of Bartmann Beursken withdraw. A generous and respectful gesture.
Europa is a significant player in the field of the sport of Reining and it is more than desirable that the continent is respresented on the NRHA Executive Committee. Bartmann is definitely not unfamiliar with the sport and this position suits him perfectly.
The voting opens on September 1 and closes on September 15. The seat is open for a 2-year term.
