NRHA Germany Breeders Derby Open Champions

21/06/2026 – The Open finals of the NRHA Germany Breeders Derby for horses 5-year-old and older have been concluded yesterday in the Ostbayernhalle in Rieden-Kreuth (GER). Posting a 225,5 Stefano Ferri (ITA) piloted the 6-year-old stallion Spider Whiz [Spooks Gotta Whiz] owned by BO Ranch (FRA) to the Champion title in both the € 63.103 added L4- and € 26.570 added L3 division. The L4 co-Reserve Champion title went to the 5-year-old stallion Chex N The Trash [Gunnatrashya] owned by AT Reining Dream SRL (BE) and ridden by Matyas Gobert (BEL) and the 6-year-old stallion Whizkey And Gun [Dun It For Whizkey] owned by Barbara Leitner (GER) and ridden by Nico Sicuro (ITA).
Gobert also claimed the L3 Reserve Champion title as well. Third place, posting a 220,5, went to the 5-year-old stallion A Sailing Revolution [Start A Revolution] owned by Eva Kuhn (GER) and ridden by Grischa Ludwig (DE).
The stage of the € 14.392 added L2 division was completely different. Posting a 219,5 Phillipp Kuhn (SUI) piloted the 5-year-old stallion ND Walla Crome Whiz [Walla Whiz Crome] owned by Gabriella Kuhn (SUI) to the Champion title. 3 Combinations posted a 217,0 and decided for the co-Reserve Champion title. Orel Pavel (CEZ) aboard the 9-year-old stallion White Shade [Yankee Gun] owned by Pavel/Vladimir Orel/Cjka; Mona Dörr (GER) with the 10-year-old gelding Smoking Voodoo [Shiners Voodoo Dr] owned by Susanne Bloss (GER) between the reins; and Jonáš Bujnoch (CEZ) with the 7-year-old stallion PL Six Six Six [Inferno Sixty Six] owned by Katerina Havlinova (CEZ) under the saddle.
The podium of the € 6.642 added L1 division was taken by the Germans. Posting a 216,0 the Champion title went to the 9-year-old stallion BMS Walla Getya Star [Walla Whiz Crome] owned by Relex Reiners and ridden by Fabienne Steiger; the Reserve Champion title with a 214,5 to the 6-year-old mare Princess Shining Gun [Colonels Shining Gun] owned by Darvin Lemm and ridden by Denis Hermann. 3 place with  214,0 to the 9-year-old mare Shinersdancingvoodoo [Shiners Voodoo Dr] owned by Julia Afflerbach ridden by Hermann as well.
