World Reining Continental Championship 2026

01/07/2026 – The NRHA approved World Reining Continental Championship 2026, eligible  for horses 5-years-old and older kicked off today at the BO Ranch in La Chapelle-la-Reine (FRA). Riders will be competing for the titles in 8 categories. Children (10-13) Junior Riders (14-18). Young Riders Non Pro and Young Riders Pro (19-25), Non Pro, Prime Time Non Pro (≥50), Open and Para Riders. Each category consist of both a team and individual competition. Dutch riders are present at this Championship, Belgium is represented by the following combinations.
In the category Junior Riders Hayley Verlinden enters the 10-year-old mare Gunna Be Delicious [Gunnerlicious].
In the category Young Riders Pro Silke Hendrix enters the 7-year-old stallion JX Tex Sixty Six [Inferno Sixty Six], Jody Fonck the-6-year-old mare JJ Alilloveneverhurt [Lil Joe Cash] and Elias van Nueten the 9-year-old mare ND A Dance With Walla [Walla Walla Whiz].
In the category Open Ann Fonck enters the 7-year-old mare The New Classic [All American Vintage] owned by Eyal Carmon (ISR), Bernard Fonck the 5-year-old stallion One Spook [Smart Spook] owned by Rosanne Sternberg (GBR), Arnaud Girinon the 6-year-old mare Dancer Monkey [Gunner] owned by Raffaele Carbonara (ITA) and Kim Girinon the 9-year-old mare Miss Maggie Brown [Magnum Chic Dream] owned by QH SRL Sabatino (ITA).
