Thea Maschalani World Champion Junior Riders

09/07/2023 – On the last day of the World Reining Championship scheduled at CS Ranch in Givrins (SUI) the Junior Riders kicked off in the € 8.500 added individual final. Posting a 217,5 German Thea Maschalani and the 9-year-old gelding A Sparkling Glo [A Sparkling Vintage] claimed the title and the golden medal. Silver and bronze were determined by a run-off between Italian Elia Kompatscher with the 9-year-old stallion Whizdom Shines [Topsail Whiz] and French Matt Legrand with the 17-year-old stallion Rooster Nic [Gallo Del Cielo]. Both combinations had marked a 216,5. The run-off was decided in favor of Kompatscher.
Of the Belgian finalists Hayley Verlinden was  the only one placing herself in the rankings. With the 5-year-old gelding Heaven 77 [Inferno Sixty Six] Hayley marked a 209,0 placing 6th.
