09/09/2021 – It’s quite a job to keep track on what has has been happening at Americana during the past days. Scheduled were, among others, the preliminaries of the ERCHA Futurity- and Derby, NCHA preliminaries, NRHA preliminaries, NRHA classes, NCHA classes, Bridle Spectacular and Americana classes, just to mention a few, of which many in both the Open- and Non Pro division. Looking back, focusing on the Dutch and Belgian entries.
Yesterday Dutch Tiara van Dongen and the 12-year-old stallion Mr Gun WR San Jo [San Jo Freckles] owned by Marleen Suttels placed 3rd in € 7.000 added NRHA Intermediate Open class (28 entries) posting a 215,0. Austrian Markus Gebert and the 7-year-old mare Cash N No Chex [Lil Joe Cash] owned by Schlager & Nestelberger Partnership claimed the title posting a 219,0. Reserve honors were for French Clémence Nevaux and the 10-year-old gelding Frankiegoestoholywod [Hollywoodstinseltown] owned by Thomas Souitric marking a 215,0.
The Intermediate Open class was run class in class with the preliminaries of € 40.000 added NRHA Open class (35 entries). Marking a 221,5 Italian Nico Sicuro and the 7-year-old stallion Colonels Dancing Gun [Gunner] owned by Quarter Dream SRL took the lead. Belgian Bernard Fonck qualiified 2 horses for the finals and so did his wife Ann. With the 6-year-old gelding Spook Sunburst [Great Sun Burst] owned by 7 Heaven Reining Horses Bernard marked a 221,0 and with the 5-year-old stallion GP A Spook In Town [Hollywoodstinseltown] owned by Golden Paint Ranch a 219,0. With the 7-year-old mare Gunners Specialolena [Gunners Special Nite] owned by Diego dalla Gassa Ann posted a 220,5 and with the 5-year-old gelding Shines Like Spook [Smart Spook] owned by Rosanne Sternberg a 217,5. Belgian Cira Baeck qualified 2 horses for the finals as well. With the 8-year-old stallion Phantom Face [Pale Face Dunnit] Baeck marked a 219,0 and with the 5-year-old stallion Nightcrawler [CFR Centenario Wimpy] a 217,5. Both horses are owned by Maria Cecilia Fiorucci. And then there’s the Dutch Touch: German Grischa Ludwig and the 5-year-old stallion Spooks Of Genius [Spooks Gotta Whiz] owned by Dutch Margot marked a 221,0.
In the ERCHA Bridle Spectacular individual competition Belgian Jan Boogaerts and his own 7-year-old stallion Gold Rush WR Cowboy [Cowboy WR San Jo] took the temporary lead with the composite score 426,0, with the Fence Work still to go.
With the composite score 619,0 Belgian Alfons Hoefkens and the 4-year-old stallion Yellow Gun WR Cowboy [Cowboy WR San Jo] owned by WR Horses qualified for both the ERCHA Open- and Limited Open Futurity.
