All Bettss Are Off NRHA L4 Open Futurity Champion

07/12/2020 – Posting a 225,0 Andrea Fappani piloted All Bettss Are Off [Gunner] Saturday night in Oklahoma City for owner Arcese Quarter Horses to the NRHA L4 Open Futurity Champion title. Furthermore Fappani tied for 3rd place with Thee American Dream [Magnum Chic Dream] owned by Morris Kulmer and placed 7th with A Smalltown Trick [Tricked Out Spook] owned by Rancho Oso Rio LLC. With the total earnings of $ 359.407 (of which $ 250.000 for the L4 title) coming along with this achievement Fappani made a huge leap towards the $ 7 million milestone in NRHA earnings. Recently Fappani passed the $ 6 million mark.
The gap between the score of Reserve Champion Brian Bell and Gunnabebigtime [Gunnatrashya] owned by Tami Nelson is only 1/2 a point, but the gap in earnings is out of proportion. The reserve title came along with ‘just’ $ 118.982.
The NRHA Futurity was the last big event of a dramatic season. 2021 is still unpredictable,
